Rod Taylor | Chairman and Founder
A career banker who for many years has focused on the Hospitality & Leisure sector. Prior to incorporating TGA, Head of Hospitality and Tourism at Europe Arab Bank where he helped develop a strategy which sought to facilitate a two-way flow of investment between the Western and Arab worlds.
Before EAB, Head of Hotel Financing for Barclays Bank PLC based at Canary Wharf in London. Before his arrival, the bank was UK-focused and he led a team which obtained a mandate to lend across Western Europe. He further developed a cohesive team capable of interfacing effectively with investors and owners seeking assistance, varying from a single asset to a portfolio of cross border assets.
Sitting alongside his roles in finance, he is a non-executive director of Firmdale Hotels Plc, the UK's leading 'boutique' chain of five-star hotels. Currently Firmdale has six hotels in Central London and one, the Crosby Street SoHo in New York City. In addition, he is a non-executive director of the Four Pillars Hotels Group which owns and operates an estate of four-star hotels in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
He holds an ACIB from the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is a Fellow (FBHA) with the British Association of Hotel Accountants.

Jan Hazelton | Managing Director
Prior to joining TGA, Jan was Vice President of Development – Strategic Relationships for Hilton Hotels. Based in London, she was an integral part of Hilton's Global Development team and supported Hilton's expansion by overseeing portfolio transactions and strategic relationships with capital and development partners.
Her experience includes 10 years as a specialist lender to the hotel industry with Calyon Bank based in London and New York.
Prior to banking, she spent time at Olympus Real Estate Fund, focusing on hotel acquisitions and asset management. Additionally, she spent seven years at ITT Sheraton in various roles including development, owner's relations, asset management and feasibility. Her career started in the management training program at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, followed time with Pannell Kerr Forster's hospitality consultancy practice.
Born and raised in Seattle, WA, USA, Jan graduated from Washington State University's hotel school.
She is a Member of the International Hotel Investment Council, Member of ULI - Hotel & Resort Council and Distinguished Speaker – Ecole hotelier de Lausanne.
